Sheraton Waikiki is one of the largest hotels in Waikiki and optimally located on the oceanfront and a short walk to Kalakaua Avenue. The lobby reconfiguration allowed for a unique opportunity to create a retail lined hallway from the Porte-cochere to the guest elevators, creating repetitive impulse shopping opportunities for the hotel retailers. After stalled efforts by another firm, Jessika was hired to lease nearly two dozen newly created loft condition retail spaces with a mix
appropriate to cater to both Japanese and West bound hotel guests alike. Successfully completing the assignments, some of the tenants included Ukulele Pua Pua, Honolulu Chocolate Company, No.8 Jewelry, Baskin Robins, Maui Divers, Peet’s Coffee (first in Hawaii), and many more. After completion of the assignment, Jessika continued her efforts as a tenant rep and secured space for Martin & MacArthur, which quickly became the top performing retailer in the property.
